I wrote on Monday about angels feeding people. As I wrote my blogs, a middle aged Asian woman came into the library and sat at a computer directly opposite me. She broke the library rules by first taking out a small bottle of “Poland” water occasionally and drinking from it. Next, she periodically took out a small, square plastic bag which held a small, flat cake looking like a cookie. I kept looking at her, wondering if she would get caught. As if that wasn’t enough, she also took out an envelope (with the logo from a local bank) and ate something from it.
It wasn’t until Tuesday that I made the connection between the lady’s bottle of water, the cake in the plastic bag and the bank envelope with Elisha. Was she an angel trying to demonstrate the lesson for me? I hope so. I had a big laugh about it. I pray that the bank has some unexpected and pleasant surprises. In our context, some of us may be ready to give up because of the lack of some necessities, not necessarily literal water and bread. God will send angels to guide you to the source of supply.
