Angels visit

Angels are very loving and enjoy visiting the children of God. They do so in many  ways such as assisting you and keeping your company when doing important assignments. If you hear a thought in your spirit,  an angel could very well be assisting you. They sometimes keep you rocking with laughter with their various  witty comments. They never leave you alone. For example, if walking on the streets, they pass and expect you to recognize and greet them.

The angels with the eagles’ heads

Last night as I lay in bed waiting to fall asleep, I saw a vision of 4 angels standing at each corner of the bed. One of them was a swarthy black man holding a spear. I could not really see one of them clearly, but since they were standing opposite to each other based on appearance, I assume that this angel was similar to the one with the spear.

Two of these angels had eagles’ feathers from their upper chest and heads like eagles.  I knew  they were there to guard me.

In the event that you think the description is strange, people in the bible also saw angels with animals’ heads symbolizing the characteristic of the animal. In this case, the eagles’ heads meant that these angels were swift, powerful warriors.

Angels in that dream

A few nights ago I had a terrible dream in which a massive serpent burst through a  wall of the apartment and began to fight with me.  Serpents represent satan and his demons in the scriptures. As I fought this serpent, I yelled for Gabriel and he flew swiftly to  help me.

 Jesus also came to my help. In the dream, He came in the form of an angel and gave me a sword which I used to cut that serpent. He then flew back to a place in the sky which looked somewhat like a lighthouse (gray in color) and which had light emanating from it.

I overcame this serpent eventually, but remembered that one of the levels of warfare that I have to undergo is against the spirit of terror (manifested also as witchcraft). However, the scriptures say that the one in me is greater than he that is in the world.

Angels have a written language

It may interest readers to learn that angels communicate  with a written language (maybe more than one). When we read the evidence on the writings of angels, information is provided about some of the things they write about:

1. The record of your life/your biography

Yes. Each human being born in this world has a book in which the events of his or her life are recorded before they acctually occur.  David wrote about this book in Psalm 139: 16  when he said, “your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be”.

John the beloved Apostle also wrote about this book which he saw in the Revelation on the Isle of Patmos. He said that in the end of time, he “saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened…and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works” (Rev 20: 12).

There is a record of Jesus’ life on earth and this was revealed to the Prophets. Jesus made sure that He fulfilled every word of this record that was revealed to the Prophets. The prophets said of Him -  “Here I am, I have come—it is written about me in the scroll”(Ps 40: 7; Heb 10: 7)

2. The record of our destiny

This record of the destiny of every human being is called the book of life. It contains the names of those who believed in Jesus as one who would deliver them from sins.  John said  that “whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire” (Rev 20: 15) .

3. The future events that would take place in heaven and earth

Daniel was told that this interesting book was called the “scripture of truth” and that its contents were known only to the speaker (most likelyPrince Gabriel) and Prince Michael(Dan 10: 12).  He had seen some of the contents of this “scripture of truth” in a  vision which occured during a three week fast.  

This may have been the book of future events or prophecy that Jesus opened and read in Rev 5: 3, 4. He was the only one worthy to do so.

Prophets Ezekiel and John were each given a book of prophecy to eat (Eze 3: 1-4; Rev 10). They were expected to speak its words to the people to whom they were sent.

4. A book of curses

Zechariah was shown this book (Zech 5: 1- 4) and was told that it was sent for those who were thieves and swore falsely in the name of the Lord.

5.  The book of remembrance

This is the book that is kept to remember those who speak about the Lord and fear His name.  One day, they will be like the Lord’s precious jewels and He will spare them from destruction.  Malachi 3: 16 wrote of this book – “Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.

6. The angel with the writing kit

Ezekiel saw an angel with a writing kit in a vision in which God had come with angels to destroy the city of Jerusalem (Eze 9: 2). The angel was only required to place a mark on the foreheads of those who prayed for the city, but this gives us a picture of how angels could be busily writing about us in heaven.
