I believe in angels.com

November 21, 2007

I recently found this website about angels. Maybe you may want to take a peek and read about what others have to say about angels. Blessings.

I’ve written responses to some of the author’s beliefs (angels in the bible)

Have you ever heard an angel sing?

October 2, 2007

Angels’ voices are very beautiful, pure, clear and sweet. Many years ago I heard an angel choir sing. Their voices were higher than the highest soprano. Over the last two weeks I heard them singing in my dreams. In one dream, one of them held the hand of a friend of mine, singing intermittently as she did so. Quite beautiful. Hope you hear them sing soon. Blessings!

What do angels wear?

August 12, 2007

Angels dress like regular people when they are on assignment. You might see them in red pants, green sneakers and gray waist length coats, like the three angels who wanted to be funny, OR you might see Prince Gabriel dressed in Nike shoes, white socks, blue jeans, gray waist length coat and a blue Nike winter hat (in winter). You may also be privileged to see another angel in a black hat, whitish-grayish tack top, jeans and sneakers.

Since they look just like regular people, could you tell an angel if you see her  wearing denim pants, brown coat and carrying a brown bag? What about the dread locked angel wearing locks covered with a black hat and complaining about the lack of disability benefits (after working 28 years for the city) and the wasted war in Iraq?

Angels can also appear as people from all nationalities, like the short, stocky angel in the black hat who said that he was from Jamaica. There could also be a senior citizen angel in brown striped hat and a beige jacket with blue collar. Cherubs like hot, bright pink jackets apparently. You just never know when you will see an angel! Peace!

The angel behind the lamppost

August 4, 2007

He was standing behind a lamp post on the sidewalk of a busy city with hands folded behind his back. Behind the lamppost? She almost passed him by, then noticed him because of his unique position. He was standing quite still and was dressed in a mismatched suit and hat. She slowed her pace and said “hello”.  He asked her for directions to  the B17 bus stop, which was just across the road. Was he telling her to be seventeen? Relax a little, forget her worries? She stood there talking with him for a while then moved on to her destination, smiling as she thought about the angel standing behind the lamppost.

Only a minute

July 12, 2007

One day God and the angels were looking at videos of upcoming world events. God groaned, “look at that, Adam and Eve obey the devil, I have to destroy the entire world by flood, burn Sodom and Gomorrah to the ground and punish the people for disobeying me!” There was a buzz of chatter all around as the angels discussed the plight of the earth among themselves. Suddenly, God banged on the gavel and said, “I’ve got it! Here’s my plan. I’m going to send my Son Jesus to live among them one day to show them how to please me. He will spend 33 years”. A little cherub cried out, “O no! That’s too long, I want to play with Jesus!” Gabriel got up, hemmed and hawed, then said, “well cherub, according to logistics, that’s not even a minute, because up here one thousand days is just like a day”. The cherub replied, “so exactly how long will He be gone?”
