Armies of angels in heaven October 29, 2007

Now this is a rather interesting topic and I believe that I have written on the issue previously. The armies of God were described in Rev 19:14:

Rev 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

Rev 19:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

Rev 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

Rev 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean

Do you know that the armies of heaven are active in the earth today? Daniel talked about them in his vision. They are particularly active when we pray. In one of my own experiences, I was praying with a group of friends in a small village. During the prayer I was describing Jesus riding through the area followed by angels. Later, Andre, a friend and participant told me that as I prayed, he saw a vision describing what I had prayed. In 2005, the Lord assigned me to the task of praying in the capital city of my nation. One night, as I did so, I prayed asking the Lord to release angels in the streets etc. Sr J Scott, a participant of the prayer meeting, told me afterwards that she simultaneously saw a vision of an angel standing in the streets with a sword in his hand.

I believe the scriptures about angels and their protective power. Only two angels were needed to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, so when the Lord leads out His armies, you know that the matter is serious, really serious. Based on the word in Rev 19: 14, I always pray asking Him to lead His armies into war on my behalf. Who wins? bNo doubt. HE always does! Blessings until next time.

Angels fight war October 27, 2007

There is a rather interesting verse in Revelation 12: 7 which says:

“there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels”.

Now that is rather interesting. War in heaven? Yes, there was a war for supremacy. The dragon, the devil, tried to become the boss. Rev 12: 8 and 9 give the result of the war, saying that the devil and his angels:

” prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him”.

Jesus told the disciples in Lk 10: 18 that He “saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven”. Int his context, He assured them that they had been given “power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (Lk 10: 19).

Angels help us in this warfare, fighting on our behalf as we pray. Let us utilize the power of God that is available to us through angelic assistance. Blessings!

Chief Prince Gabriel was the heavenly diplomat who announced His birth to His mother and earthly caretaker father. I noticed that a very special woman was chosen as His mother. Here are her characteristics:

* Mary was highly favored/had found favor with God
* She was blessed among women
* The Lord was with her (Luke 1: 26-28)

Chief Prince Gabriel gave her details about the child and His miraculous conception:

* He would be conceived by the power of the Holy Ghost (Lk 1: 35)
* He would be a Holy child because a man was not involved in His conception (Lk 1: 35)
* He would be great, and would be called the Son of the Highest (Lk 1: 32)
* The Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David (Lk 1: 32)
* He would reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and His kingdom would be everlasting (Lk 1 : 33).

We know that Jesus was an unusual child because of the details of His life. His IQ was extremely high because at age 12, He had the intellect of an individual with a post doctoral degree (Lk 2: 42-48)

He also excelled in wisdom, stature and was in favor with God and man (Lk 2: 52).

We can pray for our children to be just like Jesus as they  grow. It is not impossible. Let’s believe GOD.

Angels have brought messages about unborn children to barren women in the message. Does this still happen today? Please let me know. Here are 2 case studies:

Case study 1 – Samson

His story is found in Judges 13. An angel of the Lord appeared to his mother and told her very specific details and instructions about the pregnancy as well as his future. Here they are:

* the child would be a boy
* his mother was to abstain from alcohol and unclean things during the pregnancy
* Samson was not to cut his hair
* he would be a Nazarite
* he would deliver Israel from their enemies

Case study 2 – John the Baptist

His parents were righteous and pleasing to God. His father was a priest called Zacharias and his mother’s name was Elizabeth. Chief Prince Gabriel appeared to him while he officiated in the priest’s office in the temple one day. Angel Gabriel told him the following specific details about John (Lk 1: 5-17):

* the child would be a boy
* he would be great in the sight of the Lord
* he should not drink wine nor strong drink
* he would be filled with the Holy Ghost in his mother’s womb.
* he would turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God.
* he would prepare the hearts of the people for the Lord

These prophecies about these children were fulfilled as the angels spoke to the parents. Think of how wonderful it would be if you receive any kind of information about your unborn child. It would then be easier to train him or her up in the way that he/she should go. Blessings!

On Saturday January 13th, 2007 I wrote about things pertaining to angels. In that post, I wrote that an angel (actually Prince Michael) had given me some information which I will now quote:

” For example, the servant of the Lord told me that dinosaurs were created before Adam and are not clumsy as they are made out to be. Scientists have also mismatched the bones. I was also told that the ice at the north pole is melting and that polar bears are becoming extinct…”

Not being a student of science, the information about the North Pole and polar bears sounded pretty wild at the time. However, I read recent scientific articles in the Times magazine that confirm indeed that the Artic is melting and that polar bears are dying. Scriptures say that the word spoken by angels is steadfast (Hebrews 2: 2). Let’s listen to what they say to us today!

Angels are very loving October 15, 2007

The love of angels for God’s people is demonstrated repeatedly in scriptures and in the nature of their activity on earth today. Here are some of the evidences:

* Don’t touch those little ones because their angels are always “up in God’s face” (Mt 18: 10)

* They camp out around us to deliver us from evil (Ps 34: 7).

* They warn us about impending danger (Mt 2: 13). I have experienced this as I wrote in the previous post.

* They carry us in their hands so that we will not dash out feet against stones (Ps 91: 12). Think of how protective they are. Of course, stone may be a figurative expression referring to hard problems or situations.

* They lead us to supply sources or provide it themselves. The angel could not bear to see Elijah starving in the desert and brought him food (1 Kings 19: 5-8).

These are wonderful testimonies about the love of our angels. There are some people who are especially beloved by them and they receive great favor. These included Daniel, Jesus, Israel, all the saints. Have a great day! Blessings.

As I mused on the work of angels in the earth yesterday, I recounted the times over the past year that I received information that helped me to make some important decisions. The angels met me and related, in the form of parables,  experiences that were similar to my own. As I listened to the steps that they took and the problems that arose in their stories, I was later able to escape from trouble. I must confess that I did not always know initially that they were angels, but there was no other way to explain these uncanny “coincidences”.

I still need answers to questions, but I am deeply grateful for the help that I have received so far. Angels, I love you. Thank you Father for your wonderful angels!

Greetings to all my readers. I’ve been speaking about the various ways in which angels help us to succeed in the earth. To my delight, several months ago, I received a letter from a servant of the Lord telling me that I have an Angel of Prosperity. I was told that this angel’s job was to show me how to succeed. Now how about that?

Hello and good day to all my readers. Truth be told, if we stop to think about it, we may be able to categorize angels’ work based on what they do. For example, if you were an angel, would you like to work in:

* Security – guardian angel
* Child care – protecting children
* The Air Force – fight warfare in the heavenlies
* Entertainment – sing in the choir
* Couriers -carry messages to people
* Secret Service – espionage activity on earth and reporting back to God.
* Doctors – healing angels
* Conductors – direct choirs etc

Overheard (one angel to another on viewing a tall angel with windswept curly hair in a particular city)-“What a hairstyle. The Air Force must be in town!”

Another angel exclaimed (on seeing two others in a building where one of their favorite people worked) – “What! You work in security now!”

These are just a few. What can you come up with? We love you angels!
