One of the roles of the angels is to show you your personal future even as they did for people in the bible. This may be experienced in visions that are repeated or you may hear the angels speaking to you (to your spirit).

One of my own personal experiences relates to some of the people who will come into my life in the future. I see these people in repeated visions. I now take this time to thank the angels of the Lord for sharing with me this aspect of my future.

The angel sat with his enquiring student in a discussion about the origin of man.

Student: Where was the garden of Eden?

Angel: In Africa. Abraham was a descendant of Cush (they hardly mention Ham) who was a black man.

Student: Ohhh!

Angel: What color was Jesus when He lived on earth?

Student: I don’t know.

Angels and the meal that never was December 21, 2007

Their meal hurtled down the chasm at 60 miles per hour. They roared noisily, angrily, hungrily. Starved for days, they were ready to snap his bones into pieces. As he neared the lions, light shone in the darkness of the pit and they heard their names and a quiet “hushhhhh”. The men patted their heads, touched their jaws and  greeted the visitor with  chuckles.  Daniel replied with great relief, “hi angels, real nice to see you”.

They laughed together and settled back on the lions’ warm fur for a long night of talk and laughter.

The angel choir that sang December 20, 2007

They flew swiftly to earth, eager to break the news about the birth of the Messiah. Their unsuspecting targets were shepherds, in honor of King David, out of whose tribe the child came.  As they flew swiftly, they warmed up their voices, did their  exercises for resonance and rehearsed the parts.

Finally, they were there! The leader made the announcement, then the great choir joined him, singing the words, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.”

It was awesome and the angels were amused as they witnessed the amazement, curiosity and fright on the faces of the shepherds. As they returned home, they eagerly anticipated the celebration that day – food, dancing, parades! Too much to mention.

Happy Christmas from the angels –  peace on earth and good will to men”

Angels of compassion December 17, 2007

These are angels who offer help by providing bowels of mercies(a term found in  Col 3: 1). The word bowels were used by the Hebrews to describe the seat of the tenderer affections, esp. kindness, benevolence, compassion. A person with bowels of mercies has a tender heart (Strong’s  in blueletterbible.org).

Bowels of mercies are expressed by these angels as they offer help to individuals who are sick, in need of comfort, support, finance etc.

There are biblical examples of there activities. For example, as Elijah lay under a juniper tree in a state of depression, an angel brought him food and water two times to prevent him from starving to death (1 Kings 19: 5-8). As Hagar and Ishmael lay in the desert dying from dehydration, the angel of the  Lord called to her out of heaven and God showed her a water source, allowing them to live (Gen 21: 16-19).

Jesus himself experienced the ministry of compassion from angels as they brought Him food at the end of His fast in the wilderness and helped to strengthen Him in the Garden of Gethsemane as He prepared for His death.

These angels will make you laugh if you are sad, accompany you on journeys and make sure that you are safe and sound. Angels, we love you!

God rebukes His own angels December 13, 2007

As I read Revelation chapter 3, I realized that Jesus rebuked His angels through the Apostle John. This is not something to be taken lightly. Jesus let John know about this because of the nature of the apostle’s relationship with Him and also because of his authority in the heavenly realms. No one should take this kind of authority unto themselves because there must be the highest respect for the angelic order. The mightiest angels do not even bring railing accusations against their enemies but rebuke them in the name of the Lord. One example is  Michael’s rebuke of satan (Jude 1: 6-10).

Jude 1: 9 says “Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.” The word “railing” means that Michael did not slander the devil. The New Living Translation renders this verse in the following words, “But even Michael, one of the mightiest of the angels, did not dare accuse Satan of blasphemy, but simply said, “The Lord rebuke you.” (This took place when Michael was arguing with Satan about Moses’ body.)

Does Michael have divine authority over the devil? Yes he does. Jesus said that He saw satan fall like lightning from heaven (Lk 10: 18). Who cast him out? Prince Michael and His angels did so (Rev 12: 7). It was Prince Michael who came to help Prince Gabriel when He was delayed by the devil in  taking help to Daniel in Babylon.

What lessons can we learn? The rebuke of the Lord’s angels is His business. However, when dealing with the devil and his angels, we need to know just how to rebuke them, even as Michael used His divine authority and rebuked satan in the name of the Lord with no sweating involved if you please.

Blessings. Please read the next post on how to rebuke the devil and his angels

Angels go to church December 10, 2007

Angels do go to church. There they are in the book of Revelation joining the saints in the worship of God. Since Jesus prayed that the kingdom of God would be reflected  on earth as in heaven, we know that angels join the saints on earth when they assemble to worship God.  They may be visible or invisible.

Take a look at the first three chapters of the book of Revelation. We learn that angels were assigned to help the churches identified in the book. I believe that this is the same today. Hello angels!  We need your help and support to help us to become overcomers and to advance the kingdom of God on earth, to deliver people from the kingdom of darkness and to translate them into the kingdom of God.

Angels can be invisible December 7, 2007

While angels can appear to human beings, they can also be invisible. The Prophet Elisha had a very interesting experience in which he was surrounded by thousands of enemy soldiers. His servant became very agitated and fearful, because he was unable to see that the Prophet was also surrounded by an invisible army of angels with horses and chariots of fire ( 2 Kings 6: 17).

This is a wonderful consolation for those who fear God. If the eyes of your spirit can see, you will be able to see the angels of the Lord in visions around you. Remember that they encamp around those who fear God (Ps 34: 7).

The Angels said, “enter at your own risk” December 6, 2007

I once saw in a dream about five or six angels sitting on the steps leading to my apartment. They were black men and were lounging there, looking rather bored. Some witches came to the apartment and passed the angels on the steps without even asking for permission. The angels were bored and did not stop them, just told them to enter at your own risk.

The witches did enter. Having seen them coming up the steps, I had my right hand up to let the power of God flow and withstand them. I heard a voice telling me to say “fire from heaven”. I did so immediately and fire fell from the sky, felling some of the witches. The others took off running for their lives.

I then saw the witches who had died in the fire in a room, which also contained a man holding snakes. They started to ask about the place, complaining that the last thing they remembered was running from the fire. They begged the man with the snakes not to come near to them. The man told them not to come back here or they would be really dead. With this narrow escape, those witches got up from the ground and took off running until they got to a fast food restaurant.

Angels respond when we pray December 5, 2007

I have prayed asking the Lord to come forth with His angels to help me in times of spiritual warfare. This request was confirmed by visions seen by other people present. I have also asked the Lord to send angels into my country to deliver. One sister simultaneously saw an angel standing in the streets with a sword in his hand.

God sends these ministering spirits to our aid when we pray
