Angels on the roof

She was an astral traveller and always claimed that she used her  powers to do good. That night, however, she was headed for the home of the preacher. She could not stand the fact that the word of God was being preached and that the preacher would not give up in spite of the opposition.

Arriving at her destination, she landed on the roof. Something was not quite right, however. There was fire on the roof! Burning flames!  Hot and unbearable.

She heard voices talking among the flames and wondered what was really happening. She hurried through the flames and descended into the house. More fire. Even more unbearable. This was death!

In the house, meantime, the preacher heard the angels saying, “we let her enter at  her own risk”.  Writhing in agony, the astral traveller just barely made an escape before the flames consumed her.
