I was meditating on Sunday 13th January when I heard the words, “there is an angel of fearlessness”.  2 Timothy 1: 7 says that “… God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

The spirit of fear causes people to become afraid and fearful. The angel of fearlessness helps us to be bold and strong.

Hope you find help and strength today

The angel of prosperity January 10, 2008

Yes, there is an angel who assists us to lead successful and fulfilling lives.  Apostle John told the believers that he wished above all things  that they would “prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth” (1 John 3: 2).

The Greek word for prosper means:

a. to grant a prosperous and expeditious journey, to lead by a direct and easy way

b.  to grant a successful issue, to cause to prosper

c.  be successful

God assigns angels to ensure that our journeys or endeavors are successful, expeditious, direct (no wandering) and easy. He has angels assigned to assist us to prosper. We  can enlist these angels’ help by asking for assistance in the particular area. This is not praying, but just making a request as if asking a friend for help or a favor.

We see Angels of Prosperityat work in the bible, although they are not labelled with this title. For example, Abraham was apparently accustomed  to having angels guide him as he journeyed in the land of Caanan. He revealed this when he sent his steward to look for a wife for his son, telling him that the angel of the Lord would go before him (Gen 24: 7, 40).

The steward prayed to God asking for specific signs to be revealed in the woman   who would be Isaac’s wife. His request was fulfilled exactly as he asked, confirming that the Lord had indeed sent angels before him to make his quest successful.  He recounted his experience to Laban, uncle of the bride, telling him that Abraham had prophesied that “The LORD… will send his angel with thee, and prosper thy way; and thou shalt take a wife for my son of my kindred, and of my father’s house” (Gen 24: 40). Even the successful choice of a mate is considered to be a sign of prosperity.

This shows me that we too can use this strategy to enlist the help of the Angel of Prosperity. Years ago, I was a member of a prayer group that would pray for people in their homes etc.  We learnt to pray and ask the Lord to send angels ahead of us into the homes and places where we would pray for people. Our missions were always easier when we did so. However, I need to use this strategy more often in my every day life.

Here’s another example. Jacob saw angels ascending and descending upon a ladder between heaven and earth as he escaped Esau’s death threat.  The angels were demonstrating their closeness to him and drawing his attention to the Lord who stood above the ladder, giving a promise to bless him in the land that he would live (Gen 28). This was a reassuring and wonderful event, giving him consolation that the Lord was with him. His response was to make a vow to serve the Lord if His promise was fulfilled.  Angels are closer to us than we realize

The angel of the Lord spoke to Jacob in a dream, telling him how to mate the animals that would be strong and reproduce (an early example of genetics). Jacob followed the Lord’s  instructions and his animals multiplied exceeding and were stronger than his uncle’s (Gen 31: 1- 13).

When he returned home many years later after working for his Uncle Laban, the angels of the Lord met him to reassure him of their protection. He had tricked and robbed his brother many years earlier and was afraid that Esau was  still angry. The angels of the Lord had dealt already with that situation (Gen 32).

The bible proliferates with many more examples. God demonstrated Abraham’s revelation that angels go before His people when His angel led Israel through the wilderness. Isa 63: 9 says that the angel of His presence saved them in their affliction.

Practical application

We can see from the Greek that prosperity encompasses more than wealth acquisition and is very broad in nature. In fact, God created man with the intent that he should propser. This was established when he told Adam and Eve to be fruitful, multiply etc and gave them access to earth’s resources. He uses angels to help us to become successful.

Prince Igoni told me in June 2007 that he was the Angel of Prosperity.  He has been teaching me how to prosper in my spirit and to trust God even when I do not have access to resources. I have experienced uncommon favor and  angelic help from the “terror by night”,  among other things. I have received instructions on how I can prosper materially but have to wait for the appointed time.

The angels of the Lord are closer than you know. They are sent to help us to prosper. The examples of those who have gone on before provide a guide as to how these angels function in our lives. I hope that you have been blessed!

Angels always carry out their duties faithfully and lovingly.  They will give you information about issues that puzzle you, but cannot reveal some things unless the Lord permits until the due time.

I have seen angels on buses, flying along with airplanes, in visions,  in the library, on the streets. They will instruct     the individual   on the direction to go. I was once in a store and a middle aged woman on a cell phone loudly said, “leave now”. She was an angel warning me to leave the vicinity.

Thank God for His wonderful angels!

Angels are very loving and enjoy visiting the children of God. They do so in many  ways such as assisting you and keeping your company when doing important assignments. If you hear a thought in your spirit,  an angel could very well be assisting you. They sometimes keep you rocking with laughter with their various  witty comments. They never leave you alone. For example, if walking on the streets, they pass and expect you to recognize and greet them.

What wonderful friends you are, precious angels! Blessings!

Guardian Angels in that dream January 4, 2008

A few nights ago I had a terrible dream in which a massive serpent burst through a  wall of the apartment and began to fight with me.  Serpents represent satan and his demons in the scriptures. As I fought this serpent, I yelled for Gabriel and he flew swiftly to  help me.

Jesus also came to my help. In the dream, He came in the form of an angel and gave me a sword which I used to cut that serpent. He then flew back to a place in the sky which looked somewhat like a lighthouse (gray in color) and which had light emanating from it.

I overcame this serpent eventually, but remembered that one of the levels of warfare that I have to undergo is against the spirit of terror (manifested also as witchcraft). However, the scriptures say that the one in me is greater than he that is in the world.

Thank you Prince Gabriel and King Jesus for your assistance.

One of the roles of the angels is to show you your personal future even as they did for people in the bible. This may be experienced in visions that are repeated or you may hear the angels speaking to you (to your spirit).

One of my own personal experiences relates to some of the people who will come into my life in the future. I see these people in repeated visions. I now take this time to thank the angels of the Lord for sharing with me this aspect of my future.

The angel choir that sang December 20, 2007

They flew swiftly to earth, eager to break the news about the birth of the Messiah. Their unsuspecting targets were shepherds, in honor of King David, out of whose tribe the child came.  As they flew swiftly, they warmed up their voices, did their  exercises for resonance and rehearsed the parts.

Finally, they were there! The leader made the announcement, then the great choir joined him, singing the words, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.”

It was awesome and the angels were amused as they witnessed the amazement, curiosity and fright on the faces of the shepherds. As they returned home, they eagerly anticipated the celebration that day – food, dancing, parades! Too much to mention.

Happy Christmas from the angels –  peace on earth and good will to men”

Angels of compassion December 17, 2007

These are angels who offer help by providing bowels of mercies(a term found in  Col 3: 1). The word bowels were used by the Hebrews to describe the seat of the tenderer affections, esp. kindness, benevolence, compassion. A person with bowels of mercies has a tender heart (Strong’s  in blueletterbible.org).

Bowels of mercies are expressed by these angels as they offer help to individuals who are sick, in need of comfort, support, finance etc.

There are biblical examples of there activities. For example, as Elijah lay under a juniper tree in a state of depression, an angel brought him food and water two times to prevent him from starving to death (1 Kings 19: 5-8). As Hagar and Ishmael lay in the desert dying from dehydration, the angel of the  Lord called to her out of heaven and God showed her a water source, allowing them to live (Gen 21: 16-19).

Jesus himself experienced the ministry of compassion from angels as they brought Him food at the end of His fast in the wilderness and helped to strengthen Him in the Garden of Gethsemane as He prepared for His death.

These angels will make you laugh if you are sad, accompany you on journeys and make sure that you are safe and sound. Angels, we love you!

Angels go to church December 10, 2007

Angels do go to church. There they are in the book of Revelation joining the saints in the worship of God. Since Jesus prayed that the kingdom of God would be reflected  on earth as in heaven, we know that angels join the saints on earth when they assemble to worship God.  They may be visible or invisible.

Take a look at the first three chapters of the book of Revelation. We learn that angels were assigned to help the churches identified in the book. I believe that this is the same today. Hello angels!  We need your help and support to help us to become overcomers and to advance the kingdom of God on earth, to deliver people from the kingdom of darkness and to translate them into the kingdom of God.

Angels can be invisible December 7, 2007

While angels can appear to human beings, they can also be invisible. The Prophet Elisha had a very interesting experience in which he was surrounded by thousands of enemy soldiers. His servant became very agitated and fearful, because he was unable to see that the Prophet was also surrounded by an invisible army of angels with horses and chariots of fire ( 2 Kings 6: 17).

This is a wonderful consolation for those who fear God. If the eyes of your spirit can see, you will be able to see the angels of the Lord in visions around you. Remember that they encamp around those who fear God (Ps 34: 7).
