Angel In The Snow December 5, 2010

I was standing at a Brooklyn bus stop sometime in winter 2007.   I was dressed because it was the height of winter and a very cold day. In fact, it began to snow lightly as I stood at the bus  stop.  As I waited for the bus, I saw a young man approaching.

I had to look intently at him because of his attire. He was unusually dressed, or undressed for the weather –

he wore no gloves and scarf and had on a light leather jacket which was unbuttoned.

As I looked at him in amazement, he began to speak with my spirit.  He identified himself as an angel and said that he had come to earth to enjoy the snow.  He said that snow rarely fell in heaven and it was like a holiday when it did.  I gazed at him as he walked past, musing over what I had just heard.

I found that very interesting. How about you?

Thanks angel!

Angels have a written language January 2, 2008

It may interest readers to learn that angels communicate  with a written language (maybe more than one). When we read the evidence on the writings of angels, information is provided about some of the things they write about:

1. The record of your life/your biography

Yes. Each human being born in this world has a book in which the events of his or her life are recorded before they acctually occur.  David wrote about this book in Psalm 139: 16  when he said, “your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be”.

John the beloved Apostle also wrote about this book which he saw in the Revelation on the Isle of Patmos. He said that in the end of time, he “saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened…and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works” (Rev 20: 12).

There is a record of Jesus’ life on earth and this was revealed to the Prophets. Jesus made sure that He fulfilled every word of this record that was revealed to the Prophets. The prophets said of Him –  “Here I am, I have come—it is written about me in the scroll”(Ps 40: 7; Heb 10: 7)

2. The record of our destiny

This record of the destiny of every human being is called the book of life. It contains the names of those who believed in Jesus as one who would deliver them from sins.  John said  that “whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire” (Rev 20: 15) .

3. The future events that would take place in heaven and earth

Daniel was told that this interesting book was called the “scripture of truth” and that its contents were known only to the speaker (most likelyPrince Gabriel) and Prince Michael(Dan 10: 12).  He had seen some of the contents of this “scripture of truth” in a  vision which occured during a three week fast.

This may have been the book of future events or prophecy that Jesus opened and read in Rev 5: 3, 4. He was the only one worthy to do so.

Prophets Ezekiel and John were each given a book of prophecy to eat (Eze 3: 1-4; Rev 10). They were expected to speak its words to the people to whom they were sent.

4. A book of curses

Zechariah was shown this book (Zech 5: 1- 4) and was told that it was sent for those who were thieves and swore falsely in the name of the Lord.

5.  The book of remembrance

This is the book that is kept to remember those who speak about the Lord and fear His name.  One day, they will be like the Lord’s precious jewels and He will spare them from destruction.  Malachi 3: 16 wrote of this book – “Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.

6. The angel with the writing kit

Ezekiel saw an angel with a writing kit in a vision in which God had come with angels to destroy the city of Jerusalem (Eze 9: 2). The angel was only required to place a mark on the foreheads of those who prayed for the city, but this gives us a picture of how angels could be busily writing about us in heaven.

Have a blessed day!

The angels in Ezekiel’s visions September 15, 2007

Hi there. I am still speaking about the meanings of nonverbal messages by angels. Ezekiel saw the most puzzling vision of angels as described in Ezekiel 1: 6-14:

Eze 1 :4 And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.

Eze 1:5 Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man

Eze 1: 6 And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.

Eze 1:7 And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf’s foot: and they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass.

Eze 1:8 And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings.

Eze 1:9 Their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward.

Eze 1:10 As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.

Eze 1:11 Thus were their faces: and their wings were stretched upward; two wings of every one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.

Eze 1:12 And they went every one straight forward: whither the spirit was to go, they went; and they turned not when they went.

Eze 1:13 As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.

Eze 1:14  And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.

What is the meaning of this vision? Please read the links for explanations:

Angels and sign language September 7, 2007

I’ve been away for two days, but am back to continue speaking about the truth that angels speak with people in sign language. When they do so, we need to stop and pay attention, like Moses, who stopped to see why the bush was on fire but was not burning to cinders like trees in a forest fire. Today I would like to ask whether or not you are aware that angels guided Abraham as he journeyed through the land to which God had sent him. How do I know that? When he sent his business manager to find a wife for his son Isaac, he told him:

“The LORD God of heaven, which took me from my father’s house, and from the land of my kindred, and which spake unto me, and that sware unto me, saying, Unto thy seed will I give this land; he shall send his angel before thee, and thou shalt take a wife unto my son from thence” (Gen 24: 8).

Abraham told the manager that the Lord would send his angel ahead to guide him. He spoke this from experience. Although scriptures do not directly record the events in which angels of the Lord guided Abraham, we learnt from Jacob’s experience how they may have done so. When Jacob ran away from home, he did so because his brother Esau plotted to kill him due to the theft of the birthright, which cost Esau his inheritance as firstborn. That night, Jacob had a dream in which he saw “a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it”. (Gen 28: 12). This dream meant that Jacob had direct access to heaven and that angels were with him continually. That must have been very comforting to Jacob under the circumstances. Furthermore, the Lord stood above the ladder and prophesied to him about his plan to give the land to him and his offspring.

Many years later, Jacob returned home at the Lord’s instructions, but did so under duress because he was afraid that Esau would try to get revenge for the theft of the birthright. Genesis 32: 1 says that the angel of God met him as he returned. Now this was even more comforting. The presence of the angels meant that he had no reason to fear Esau because he was under divine protection. As Jacob reached the end of his life, he gathered his sons in order to impart a prophetic blessing to them. As he blessed Joseph’s sons, he gave praise to God for the presence of the angels of the Lord in his life, referring to the Lord as “the Angel which redeemed me from all evil” (Gen 48:16).

I used Jacob’s example to show that Abraham must have experienced the same kind of angelic guidance during his journeys. We know that Abraham saw the Lord God live and direct in visits (Gen 18: 1,2)and that the angel of the Lord spoke to him from heaven as he was about to kill Isaac (Gen 22). Did angels meet Abraham at strategic places and times in order to show him which way to go? We know that Jesus (Melchizedek) met him and helped him to fight the war against the kings who had captured his nephew Lot. Every member of Abraham’s family benefited from this special angelic protection and guidance, including Hagar and Ishmael. Abraham’s manager inferred that angels had helped him to the right wife for Isaac when he told Laban what Abraham had said on the inception of the journey:

“… The LORD, before whom I walk, will send his angel with thee, and prosper thy way; and thou shalt take a wife for my son of my kindred, and of my father’s house” (Gen 24: 40).

Angels are always present to help the seed of Abraham. The question is whether or not we are aware of their presence or whether our eyes are blind to them like Gehazi in 2 Kings 6: 15-17. Blessings until next time!

Angels also communicate non verbally September 4, 2007

I’ve completed the discussions on biblical examples of verbal communication by angels and have also shown the reasons why they do so. Today, I would like to show examples of nonverbal communication by angels and hope that we will understand the reasons why. Here are some examples:

1. Angels stand guard and act as deterrents to people

After Adam and Eve were turned out of the garden of Eden, God placed Cherubims at the entrance as well as a flaming sword which turned in a 360 degree circle (Gen 3: 24). This was to prevent the reentry of the couple. An angel with a sword stood blocking Balaam’s path when he went on his way to curse Israel (Num 22: 23). The angel was invisible to Balaam, but the donkey saw him. This was a sad and ironic tale of a man whose greed motivated him to the point where he was impervious to the judgement of God. It also tells us that God will not allow anyone to harm those who He has blessed.
2. Angels can attract our attention in unusual ways then give a message when we look to see.

God appeared to Moses as an angel in a flame of fire in the middle of a bush that burned but did not become ashes. In order to satisfy his curiosity on the reason that the bush did not burn, Moses turned aside to see. When God saw his response, He called out to him from the middle of the bush, then began to talk with him about freeing Israel from slavery in Egypt (Ex 3). Moses’ experience tell us that sometimes God will do something unusual to get our attention, but will not approach us unless we respond by stopping to see what the problem or strange event is.

Why do angels communicate verbally with people? September 1, 2007

Greetings to my readers. In the previous posts, I showed the biblical evidences of angels in communication with people. Today, I would like to answer the question of why angels communicate verbally with people. The answer is that they do so in order to reveal the power of God. As I reviewed the previous content, I discovered several truths about angels that are revealed in their communication:

1. Angels provide miraculously – e.g. water for Hagar, food for Prophet Elijah

2. Angels protect – e.g Ishmael from death, infant Jesus from execution by Herod.

3. Angels deliver – e.g. the apostles from prison, Paul from death on the sea.

4. Angels guide – e.g. Peter to the desert, Cornelius to Peter’s location

5. Angels foretell the future, giving specific details that are always fulfilled – e.g. births of Samson, John the Baptist and Jesus

Angels are wonderful friends of the human race, particularly of those who love the Lord. We love you angels!

Angels speak with their spirits August 6, 2007

Hello and good day. I hope you all had a great night. I just wanted to share that angels do speak with their spirits and that is because they are spirit beings. Psalm 104: 4 says that angels are spirits. They have spiritual bodies in heaven but when on missions on earth, they take on human shape, dressing like the people around them. I will share more of the spiritual bodies of angels another time and also in my soon to be released book, “Man is spirit”. When I say part of the angel that is active. A body is just a shell for the human and angelic spirit. When angels take on human form, they are just wearing a covering or shell for the spirit. How do I know this? Well, Paul speaks of the form that humans will take on after the resurrection, at least those who die in Christ (1 Corinthians 15: 35-44). Those who did in Christ will not rise again with the body you had on earth, but with a spiritual body like the angels.

If you see an angel in the human form, you are just looking at the shell, which the angel can change the shell at any other time. Jesus did this after His resurrection because He was now wearing a spiritual body. He no longer had the old physical body and that is why the disciples had great difficulty recognizing Him. To share an example of the potential of the spiritual body, here is what is said about Jesus’ spiritual body in Matthew 16: 9 – 12:

“Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils. And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept. And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not. After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country.”

Well, since I am talking about angels and how they can talk with their spirits, I will share an example. If you meet an angel, he or she may speak with you audibly or you may hear them with your spirit in the same way in which the Lord reveals things to you. If they find something highly amusing, they will laugh, rolling in the spirit, but their faces may be almost deadpan. Sometimes they will laugh until they fall over, especially if you share something funny from the bible. Sometimes you will only see a facial expression of laughter or the angel may suck in the cheeks in laughter. It is something like laughing in the spirit or “holy laughter”.

At one time I met a chief angel who had a long conversation with me. He told me that when Jesus was arrested, Peter actually tried to cut off the neck of the High Priest’s servant. The man saw him coming in time and ducked. That is how Peter got the ear instead. The angels find this very amusing. There are a lot of things in the bible that are highly amusing, but you will have to be close to the Lord to see the humor. If you see the humor and talk about it, you will have a pile up of angels too weak to stay on their feet. They love a good joke. Until!

Well, one King got the fright of his life when he saw a hand appear and write words on the walls of his palace. He and his magicians just could not decipher out the meaning of these words, so he called Prophet Daniel who gave him the unhappy meaning. You can get the full story in Daniel 5. Yes, indeed, angels do have a written language. More on this later!

Believe it or not, angels do speak with a language called the language of heaven, although they know human languages as well. Can you speak with the tongues of angels? Hmmm. This is how believers in Christ receive and relay secret information to God and to angels. How can you do so? Next time.
